Miss Bristol Pageant Headed By New Committe
10/26/2008 2:05:24 PM

We've got exciting news out of Bristol!

We are very pleased to announce that the Miss Bristol Scholarship Program has a new executive director.
At an informative meeting Saturday, state Executive Director Luis Pabon and state Director of Field Operations Stanley Boyes signed a new franchise agreement with Linda Lubrico. Linda has been a longtime advocate of the Bristol pageant and pledges to return it to its halcyon days with plenty of contestants and loads of support from the city and its people. She has a core committee of five, some of whom have pageant experience. They will take over the management of newly crowned Miss Bristol Nicole Paquette and Bristol's Outstanding Teen Que Pelletier.
"Linda has a lot of support in the community and is involved with the Mum Festival," Stanley reports.
Lisa Little will be the field director.
In the works are plans for a spring pageant which would generate an additional title from the Bristol area.
"There is a lot of enthusiasm and plans to make Miss Bristol bigger and better and bring it back to its original glory," Stanley added.
Linda approached the Miss Connecticut Board of Directors after former Executive Director Diane Pelletier and her committee did not sign a franchise agreement and resigned.

It's official - New Miss Bristol Committee is formed.
