The Miss Greater Waterbury committee would like to thank everyone who attended the dinner in honor of Ann and so generously contributed to the evening. We were so excited to see so many attend; and as many know, at times it was difficult to find a seat. We were overwhelmed with the incredible response. At least there was enough food! Karen single handedly made over 300 meatballs and all the sauce from scratch!
Special thanks go to Avril Fraser, Joanne Salerno, and Edna Bruneau for coming early to help set up.
Our young ladies, Jaimie, Maggie, Meryl and Liz, did a fabulous job serving everyone Karen's delicious meatballs and other delicacies!
Our kitchen and "cleanup committee" was also much appreciated: Kim & Roger Ward, Kim Membrino, Joe Kuziak, Joe Campbell and Tom Prete. Thanks for pitching in.
Steve Smith: Thanks for posting the photos. Between your photos, Roger's and the posting by titleholders, Ann is sure to feel like she was there.
To our local committees: Thank you for the wonderful desserts, raffle baskets and gifts that certainly added nicely to Ann's monetary gift.
Ashley Glenn & Bill & Sue Forte could not be with us, but sent lovely cards and donations for Ann.
Our Greater Waterbury hostesses, Ashley and Leah, are very grateful to be a part of such a warm, loving, and giving organization.
We are sure Ann could feel the warmth and the love expressed for her during the evening. Let's all keep the prayers and well wishes going in Ann's direction. It was a joy to be able to give back to someone who has given so much to the organization and the young women who have passed through it over the decades.
