The following is a list of award winners at the 2012 Miss Connecticut Scholarship Pageant, which was held at the Garde Arts Center in New London June 28-30.

 June 28, preliminary awards, Miss division:

Miss Southington Cassandra Mastrianni, talent award for singing “If I Had My Way,” by Linda Eder.

Miss Greater Watertown Joanna Shields, lifestyle and fitness in swimsuit.

June 28, preliminary awards, Teen division:

Miss Mountain Laurel’s Outstanding Teen Jaine’ Coann Truex LeFebvre, talent award for singing “Art is Calling for Me.”

Miss Southington’s Outstanding Teen Sydney West, lifestyle and fitness in casual wear.

June 29, preliminary awards, Miss division:

Miss Wolcott Emily Audibert, talent award for lyrical dance to “Listen” by Beyonce.

Miss Greater Simsbury Kaitlin Tarpey, lifestyle and fitness in swimsuit award.

June 29 preliminary awards, Teen division:

Miss Southington’s Outstanding Teen Sydney West, rhythmic tap routine to a contemporary variation of “All That Jazz,” preliminary talent award.

Miss Hartford County’s Outstanding Teen Krystiana Bouchard, lifestyle and fitness in casual wear.

Also Friday night, a representative of Connecticut Children’s Medical Center, Scott Organek, presented the Miss Miracle Maker Award to two contestants who raised the most money for Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals, of which the medical center in Hartford is a part. All 46 Teen and Miss contestants raised more than $13,000 for CMNH, the Miss America philanthropy. Miss Marion’s Outstanding Teen, Tina-Marie Valente, raised more than $600 for the cause, making her the Teen Miss Miracle Maker. In the Miss division, Miss Naugatuck  Valley Marisa Barnard was named Miss Miracle Maker, raising more than $5,500 for CMNH.

On June 30, the following Miss contestants made the Top Ten: Andreanna Bucchieri, Molly Westfall, Martha Price, Ashley Membrino, Cassandra Mastrianni, Samantha Sojka, Rebecca Brendli, Kaitlin Tarpey, Ashley Hamel, Emily Audibert. The Miss Top Five were: Samantha Sojka, fourth runner-up, $750 scholarship; Cassandra Mastrianni, third runner-up, $1,000 scholarship; Kaitlyn Tarpey, second runner-up, $1,500 scholarship; Ashley Membrino, Theresa Beauchamp Memorial Scholarship for first runner-ups, $2,500 scholarship; Emily Audibert, Miss Connecticut 2012, $5,000 scholarship.

Other Miss division awards: Spirit of Miss America, Martha Price, $200 scholarship; Non-finalist talent winner, Kaitlyn Bogue, $200 scholarship; Non-finalist interview winner, Katlyn Lewicke, $200 scholarship. Connecticut Community Service Award, Molly Westfall, $500 scholarship in memory of Wilfredo Perez Jr.; State Academic Award, Cara Ann Cama, $1,000 scholarship from Miss America; State Community Service Award, Ashley Membrino, $1,000 scholarship from Miss America; overall interview award, Kaitlin Tarpey, $250 scholarship; Emily Audibert, overall lifestyle and fitness in swimsuit, $250 scholarship, and overall talent, $250 scholarship.

The teen Top Ten was: Eliza Kanner, Melissa Michaud, Jaine Coann Truex LeFebvre, Rose Martin, Jonet Nichelle, Maggie Luddy, Sydney West, Serrita Norige, Krystiana Bouchard, Cassia Schoaf. The Teen Top Five were: Jonet Nichelle, fourth runner-up, $100 scholarship; Rose Martin, third runner-up, $250 scholarship;  Sydney West, second runner-up, $500 scholarship; Krystiana Bouchard, first runner-up, $700 scholarship; Jaine’ Coann Truex LeFebvre, Miss Connecticut’s Outstanding Teen 2012, $1,000 scholarship.

Other Teen Division awards: Spirit of Miss America, Serrita Norige, $100 scholarship; Katie Haggard non-finalist talent, Danielle Sturgeon, $250 scholarship; overall interview, Jaine’ Coann Truex LeFebvre, $100 scholarship, overall lifestyle and fitness in casual wear, Krystiana Bouchard, overall talent, Jaine’ Coann Truex LeFebvre, $250 scholarship.

The Miss Connecticut Scholarship Corporation gave 30-year pins from the Miss America Organization to three longtime volunteers: Luis Pabon of Norwich, Maria Druan of Watertown and Dr. Philip Pelosi of Waterbury.
