Miss Connecticut 2012 Emily Audibert

Emily Audibert was crowned on June 30, 2012 at the Garde Arts Center in New London. Emily is 21 years old, and a student at the University of Hartford, where she is a triple-major in economics/finance, accounting, and entrepreneurial studies.

Emily grew up in Wolcott, and held the title of Miss Wolcott until she was crowned Miss Connecticut.

She has been a dancer since the age of 3, and has also taught dance for 8 years.

Her personal platform is “Let’s Move,” which was started by Michelle Obama and aims at combatting childhood obesity by promoting healthier eating habits and 60 minutes of exercise each day.

After competing in Miss America in January, Emily says she hopes to make in impact on people’s lives as Miss Connecticut.

Emily will be crowning the next Miss Connecticut on June 22 at the Garde Arts Center in New London.
