Name: Aubrie Przybysz
Education: Western New England University
Aubrie is a communications major concentrating in media theories and production at Western New England University in Springfield, Massachusetts. She hopes to one day be on-camera as a reporter or news anchor. Since the age of four, Aubrie has been an avid dancer, in a range of styles including acrobatics, ballet, tap, jazz, and lyrical. She has also competed on the competition dance team at her dance studio, Dance Arts Centre, for seven years. Since then she has gone on to become a part of the performing team on her university’s dance team, where she was recently voted the incoming President for the next school year school year.
Along with holding the title of Miss Bristol, Aubrie has kept herself busy with many other responsibilities this year. She recently began a part-time job serving at Texas Roadhouse in Springfield. She also spent her year as a Peer Advisor for first year students at her university. And she finished her first internship on campus as the Student Coordinator for the 11th annual Student Media Festival at WNEU. One of her projects, of which she is very proud, is her recent work with the Smart Girls group at the Bristol Boys and Girls Club, where she had the chance to make a lasting impression on children in her community while promoting her personal platform – SMART Goals. She created this platform to help people learn how to create goals the are Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Realistic, and Time-manageable. Goal setting is a major part of her life that she wishes to share with people through the Miss America scholarship program.
